Umpqua Symphony Association

For more than half a century the Umpqua Symphony Association has been dedicated to bringing top quality live music to our community.  Since 1955, Douglas County residents have enjoyed concerts given by world class performers including the Oregon Symphony, Eugene Symphony, Vienna Boys Choir, and Oregon Mozart Players.  Our seasons have included performances by symphonic bands, string quartets, brass quintets, vocal ensembles, pianists, and opera.  Each year the Association endeavors to present varied concerts from September through May.

The Umpqua Symphony Association is also the proud sponsor of the Douglas County Youth Orchestra, which was founded in 1997.

It is a goal of the Umpqua Symphony Association to promote music education for young people in our area. Workshops are given by many of our performers to enhance musical growth. Complimentary student tickets are made available to local teachers to encourage young people to attend our concerts.
