  • About Us

The Global Catastrophic Risk Institute is a nonprofit think tank dedicated to helping mobilize the world's intellectual and professional resources to meet humanity's gravest threats. GCRI works on the breadth of global catastrophic risks, including climate change, nuclear war, and pandemics. GCRI conducts original research on these threats and builds communities of professionals to translate research into action. GCRI is a geographically decentralized organization, meaning we have no centralized office. Our people are based across the world and coordinate via phone and internet.
