Kids Triathlon Inc.

Every organization has its story. Ours is a little different. Back in 2008, three moms who all loved the sport of triathlon – especially the impact it has on kids – decided to start a small, community-based kids triathlon in Jacksonville, FL. They wanted their kids to participate, and they hoped a few others would register. On that “special” morning in May 2009, nearly 500 kids showed up. More importantly, 100% of them finished the race and became triathletes.

As they say, the rest is history.

Linda, Mandy and Susan are still actively involved in the sport of triathlon, and each of them has played a critical role in our growth. Kids Triathlon, Inc. now organizes the largest kids triathlon series in the world. What started as their dream has since helped transform the dreams of more than 22,000 kids as they each gained the healthy habits and self-confidence that result from being a triathlete.
