Lifespire, Inc.

Founded in 1951, Lifespire is a full service not for profit, providing training, social engagement, residences, vocational support, behavioral services, day habilitation services and respite to thousands of Individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as residences in Westchester and Ulster Counties, and certain supported services on Long Island. 

Lifespire's programs support our mission of “helping individuals reach life’s aspirations.”  We believe that every person is a vital, important member of their families and communities and each day our dedicated 1,400 employees strive to help 5,000 individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities achieve and succeed.  Lifespire’s expertise has long been recognized and in 2016, we were awarded the Council on Quality Leadership Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation.
