Independent Transportation Network Central Oklahoma

A membership-based organization offering rides to people age 60 and older and visually impaired people of any age, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to unrestricted destinations, not just for medical needs based on volunteer drivers using their own vehicles. These volunteers will be reimbursed for their mileage in cash, credits for their future use as a rider, credits in someone else's account or a scholarship account for needy riders.

Currently we have at least 50 riders and are recruiting drivers to serve that need. Someday we will all need this service. Public transportation is just not an option for most seniors who hate to burden their families for anything other than what is absolutely necessary. That leaves way too many seniors alone and unfulfilled at home when their only challenge is transportation.
