Santa For Seniors - Lutheran Community Services Northwest

  • Mission

The mission of Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW) to is to partner with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. Through our shared relationship, those we partner with and serve will access strengths and embrace the future with increased confidence and competence; recognize the importance of human dignity, feel valued, more effectively advocate for themselves and others; connect positively with others and build safe, strong communities. The Santa for Seniors program recognizes our seniors as vital members of the community and strives to combat the negative effects of isolation through community engagement and access to resources.

    About Us

Santa for Seniors is a program of Lutheran Community Services Northwest, a Social Service Agency with more than 100 years of service to the Pacific Northwest. Although LCSNW serves people of all ages, our South Puget Sound office focus is on programs for the elderly and people with disabilities. Since 2015, the Santa for Seniors program has worked with a range of agencies and organizations to identify isolated and homebound seniors in the community. The program works with community partners to provide a bridge to resources, create intergenerational awareness, and strives to improve other social determinants of health. These seniors are acknowledged with a gift at various touch points throughout the year. Gifts are meant to be thoughtful and support the various needs of the senior.
