ORGANIZATION HISTORY 

EL-ILAKOZE DCT CENTRE is situated at Buhigwe District Kigoma regional Tanzania. This centre has intension of Providing holistic Diagnostic, care and treatment to the indigenous people around the area concerned in terms of physical, mentally, spintually and socially.  

VISION:- 

To have a well educated community with better live hood.

BACKGROUND:-

EL- ILAKOZE DCT CENTRE 

This health facility if has main purpose of providing Diagnostic, Care and treatment to Indigenous people as well as to provide health and health services and health related services to people almost to Kigoma region . 

This centre has expactation of Providing services to people through the Kigoma region as well as Western Zone in Tanzania as we didn’t have as well equipped diagnostic equipment such as CT Scan, MRI etc. 

Despite the fact that diagnostic services like MRI, CT Scan are available More than 1500km from Buhigwe District. 

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEAM 

Among the health services which expect to offer is maternal and child health care which is crucial and paramount important issue that lies in a line with millennium Development goal number 4 and 5.

How ever by having this DCT (Diagnostic, care and Treatment Unit will eventual reduce a number of referrals hence reducing the risk factors. 

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT.

The objective of this project is to provide quality Diagnostic, Care and treatment as well as to Provide quality maternal and child health care to Pregnancy mothers and children. 

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT.  

The implementation of this project is through construction of new Diagnostic , care and treatment Unit which will help to conduct these health services to these poor people Beneficiaries of this Project are women bearing age, neonates , old people as well as the whole community.  

EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT

Evaluation of the Program will base on the completion of construction of new health unity hence of the indicators of effectiveness of the program will be reduction of number of maternal deaths Neonatad eleaths and referrals to other health facilities as well as to meet an objective of every health facility.
