  • Mission

Housing Choices enhances the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by assisting them to find and retain quality, affordable housing options.

    About Us

Housing Choices began as a grassroots volunteer effort driven by parents and service providers concerned about the lack of affordable housing for people with developmental disabilities. With start-up funding from the San Andreas Regional Center (a community-based nonprofit corporation funded by the State of California to serve people with developmental disabilities), Housing Choices incorporated in July 1997 as a 501c3. Since then, Housing Choices has established itself as a trustworthy resource for our community. Our work in educating, informing, and building our community through partnerships with affordable housing developers has created over hundreds of new housing units for people with developmental disabilities.
