We protect Kentuckiana children, families and communities from abuse, neglect and exploitation, and help them heal.

Through collaborations with the Crimes Against Children Unit of Louisville Metro Police, Child Protective Services, U of L School of Medicine and the Commonwealth’s Attorney office, our Kosair Charities Child Advocacy Center works to help children and families through the trauma of sexual abuse.

We provide individual, family, group and school-based counseling to help trauma-impacted children and families. We supervise parent-child visitations, help families stay in their homes, help first-time parents better engage and bond with their newborns and students improve socially and academically.

Last year we helped nearly 5,000 children and family members regain hope.
