Poet Lore is America's oldest poetry journal, established in 1889. It has a circulation of 1,500 and a massive pool of established and emerging writers who submit monthly. We publish a diverse range of the most evocative current poetry. We maintain a history of discovery: publishing the first works of many poets who go on to have highly successful careers; therefore, we constantly read without regard to reputation.
