    Indigenous Celebration is a 501(c)3 non profit organization founded in 2015 with aa mission to preserve the Amazon forest and its wisdom by empowering indigenous communities through a celebration of culture. After working exclusively with the Yawanawá tribe (Brazilian Amazon) for 3 years, completing a 5-city U.S. music tour, constructing a Community Center, Garden of Medicines, Traditional School and food security program in Mutum Village, IC expanded it’s mission to include 17 tribes in 2018 under it’s Women’s Empowerment initiative, which sells artesanatos (crafts) in partnership with local women’s cooperatives, impacting 400 female artisans and their families.
