MISA and HILC's Volunteer and Community Programs work with volunteers, community groups, and service providers to increase their understanding of the challenges newcomers face as they adjust to life in Canada.
These programs assist newcomers, community groups and service providing agencies by creating a sense of welcome, providing links to the larger community, and developing needed personal and organizational skills and capacities.
All programs take into consideration needs of newcomers, volunteers, community groups, services providing organizations and other partner organizations.
