  • About Us

Led by Faye Wattleton, the Center for the Advancement of Women is a not-for-profit institution dedicated to research-based education and advocacy for women. An independent, non-partisan organization founded in 1995, its mission is to conduct opinion research with women on issues affecting their lives. This research presents a collective profile of women that informs the Center how best to advance women's equality by educating lawmakers, opinion leaders and the general public. Once data is collected, the Center uses its media experience and expertise to motivate action from its activist base on behalf of women everywhere.
