Asperger Works, Inc. Solves Employment Problems for Adults and Transitioning Youths (Who are at least 16 years old) with AS

The mission of Asperger Works is twofold: to educate employers about the positive side of hiring people with Asperger’s Syndrome (AS) and to help adult Aspergians lead productive lives through gainful employment.

Our vision is that through our efforts, the Merrimack Valley area of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and indeed the whole country, will become populated with adults on the Spectrum who are able to live productive lives fully employed without fear of discriminatory behavior among employers.

Our Strategy is...

• Educate employers regarding the best ways to leverage the strengths of people with AS and provide a work environment that sets up the autistic worker for success
• Develop programs that help adults with AS find fulfilling work such as employment readiness training and related support (i.e. job coach)
• Assist people with AS stay employed and advance in their careers
