About Us

Reach Out and Read (ROR) promotes early childhood education by providing advice to parents on reading aloud and giving children a culturally and developmentally appropriate book to take home at each pediatric visit from six months to five years. There are 119 ROR locations in small community health centers, inner city clinics, large urban teaching hospitals, and private practices in Los Angeles County.
