The Plastic Solutions Fund (PSF) is an international funders’ collaborative, working together to turn the tide on plastic pollution in our oceans, rivers, land and air. We have a vision of a world where only truly necessary and non-toxic plastic products and packaging are produced; and even those are reused or repaired; and failing that recycled.
We build innovative collaboration among individuals and institutions, support results-oriented grant making, and provide a trusted platform for new philanthropic investment in pursuit of this vision. Established in January 2017, the Plastic Solutions Fund currently has grant making capacity of approximately $US 7.5million per year. It has a budget of $16.5million for its first three years of operation and a target of $24million for it’s second three years.
The Fund has an international Board, and currently has a Program Director - based in San Francisco, USA - and part time Administrator. The Fund’s current strategic priorities are Europe, the US and Southeast Asia (particularly Indonesia, Philippines), China and India.
