Dexter Southfield currently offers about 800 boys and girls from preschool through Class 12 a classical education on one campus. Dexter School, established in 1926, and Southfield School, established in 1992, and now named Dexter Southfield School, are two separate single sex programs, sharing administrators, faculty and a wealth of academic and athletic facilities, including an astronomy observatory and science center facilities on their 36 acre Brookline campus. Their seven summer programs attract 1000 campers each summer.
