SAVE Family Foundation

SAVE Family Foundation is a Northern California 501(c)(3) nonprofit closing wellness gaps across Sacramento and Yuba City by building real systems of care for mental health, food security, housing stability, education, and healthcare access. We exist to strengthen physical and mental well-being for the families who need it most, through direct service, community trust, and lasting partnerships.

Founded by a family of health providers who spent years serving their own communities, SAVE was built on a simple belief: wellness shouldn't be a privilege. We deliver care directly, pro bono therapy and mindfulness sessions, maternal mental health support for pregnant and postpartum mothers, youth prevention and well-being programming, food security work through culinary medicine and local farm partnerships, and support toward stable housing.

We're also an approved practicum training site, growing the specialized workforce our communities need so families no longer have to go without care. We serve individuals and families across Sacramento and Yuba City, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations, from new mothers to youth to those facing food insecurity, and we work alongside partners, funders, and volunteers to make health, dignity, and joy accessible to everyone.
