About Us
THCC is a statewide non-profit advocacy organization helping low-income persons find comprehensive, quality, affordable health care coverage and health services. We focus primarily on Medicaid, Medicare and TennCare, Tennessee's public health program for non-Medicaid eligible people. Our work includes helping enrollees navigate the health care system, advocating on their behalf, and working for systemic change that will benefit the greatest number of people. One of our special projects, called TennCare for Children, which is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, has the goals of identifying uninsured children and families and helping them get health care coverage, as well as working to simplify the enrollment and renewal process.
