  • Mission

The mission of Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) is to advocate and secure the protection and stewardship of the Chattahoochee River, its tributaries and watershed, in order to restore and conserve their ecological health for the people and wildlife that depend on the river system.

    About Us

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) is a 501(c)(3)environmental advocacy group that works to ensure clean water for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren through education, monitoring, research, outreach, restoration, advocacy and legal actions to accomplish our goals. Since 1994, CRK has worked successfully to protect and restore the Chattahoochee River and its tributaries because healthy rivers sustain a great variety of life and are a vital part of our communities. Nearly 4 million people depend on the Chattahoochee River system for drinking water, recreation, waste assimilation, hydropower, wildlife habitat and fisheries, industries and farming.
