About Us

Based on a book introduced by Granny Sue, "Legend of the Bluebonnet," founder Jen Cooper established TFG Charitable Supply & Foundation. The story is a Comanche parable about the origin of bluebonnets. The story goes that a sacrifice of a special possession is needed to end a long drought. All of the people think of their most prized possessions, and then decide that theirs is not the one that’s needed, but one little girl decides to burn her only doll and scatters the ashes to the wind, bringing the rains back, and the next morning, bluebonnets are growing everywhere the ashes fell.

TFG Charitable Supply & Foundation focuses on supplying nonprofit organizations with goods and money to expand their mission. With the support of private donors and Thrift For Good Ltd., we have and will aim to supply over $100,000 in grants and hundreds of used and new goods to organizations in need. So far this year, we have either committed or already donated a total of $161,500 to some amazing local charities! We are excited to be a pillar of opportunity for organizations and people within the HEB area and beyond, doing what we can, when we can, simply because we can.

Our mission statement is, "Supplying charities and nonprofit organizations with resources and opportunities to touch more lives."
