    Centro Hispano de East Tennessee is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2005 in Knoxville, TN to provide a central place where internationals, especially Latinos, could learn English and find resources to help them improve their lives. In 2010, with the assistance of the Helen Ross McNabb Center and Knox County, Centro Hispano found a home at 2455 Sutherland Avenue in the John Tarleton Campus.

    Centro Hispano’s mission is to connect, integrate and empower the Latino community into the Greater Knoxville area through education and engagement; information and referral services; and community strengthening initiatives.
