ALIGN: The Alliance for a Greater New York

ALIGN's mission is to create good jobs, vibrant communities, and an accountable democracy for all New Yorkers. Our work unites worker, community, and other allies to build a more just and sustainable New York.

ALIGN was formed in 2011 through the merger of New York Jobs with Justice and Urban Agenda. We are the local affiliate of the Blue Green Alliance, Jobs with Justice, and the Partnership for Working Families.

As a coalition-building organization, we build power to advance the movement for social and economic justice. Using organizing, policy and communications strategies, we develop, drive and win campaigns that increase opportunity for all, improve our environment, and hold government and corporations accountable.
