  • Mission

    Ridge and Valley Conservancy is an accredited land trust that, in cooperation with strategic partners, permanently protects and stewards land in northwestern New Jersey for the benefit of natural communities.

    About Us

    • Our efforts positively impact your air and water quality, enhance sensitive ecosystems, and provide critical wildlife habitat.
    • We have protected and currently steward more than 3,200 acres of preserved lands, many of which offer public access for passive recreation, including hiking, nature study, and photography.
    • We help landowners identify the best preservation options for their land.
    • We educate the public about the importance of open space, provide opportunities to volunteer, and offer educational programs and events.
    • RVC partners with local governments, other organizations, and landowners to facilitate preservation.
