Meridian Freedom Project

  • About Us

Across the state of Mississippi, the Freedom Project's mission is to grow a corps of socially conscious, mentally disciplined, and academically capable young leaders. Inspired by the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement, with three sites (Sunflower County, est. 1998, Meridian, est. 2014, Rosedale, est. 2015, and growing), the Freedom Project is a year-round fellowship dedicated to long-term support, helping our young men and women, or Freedom Fellows, as they get on - and stay on - the path to college.
