Refugees Enrichment and Development Association (REDA, Inc.)

REDA is a community based not for profit organization that provides refugee families and new legal immigrants with help and support in dealing with their daily logistical challenges in the USA. One of REDA’s core projects is its culturally sensitive Service Center. The purpose of the latter is to support refugee families and new legal immigrants, mainly those with English language barriers, in navigating their new lives in the USA. REDA service center also advocates on behalf of refugee families when dealing with the various governmental, health, employment, education agencies and systems. Services offered by REDA’s Service Center include –among others- referral to community resources and support in completing applications for housing, social services, employment, medical appointments, and transportation. In addition to that, REDA provides data analysis services to agencies and organizations working with refugees and new immigrants. Finally, REDA offers programs aimed at empowering refugees and helping them attain independence and self-sufficiency.
