Cammies & Canines Sanctuary

  • Mission

Serve our community by rescuing homeless dogs from being euthanized and help our homeless veterans transition off the streets through a canine's loving companionship, repurposing through training, and teaching emotional responsibility... all to help reduce the veteran suicide rate.

    About Us

We are a veteran owned organization based out of San Diego. Cammies & Canines is about continuing the mission of service. We focus on rescuing dogs on the verge of being euthanized and helping our homeless veterans. We pair the two together and foster a loving relationship. We also train dogs to become service dogs for the disabled (not just veterans). We've been featured on Animal Planet TV "Rescue Dog to Super Dog" and getting ready to purchase our own land in San Diego. On this property we will house transitioning veterans, our rescue dogs, horses, chickens and more. We'll host dog training events, dock diving (for dogs), horse back riding, softball tournaments, gardening, etc. Watch this 4 min video to truly understand what we're about and where we are going. https://youtu.be/6cIz4Evj1n4
