    The Concerned Kids is a non-profit organization that began in 1989 to address the needs of communities expressed by educators and public authorities for new and creative ways of addressing, preventing and solving social issues. We educate and empower children and youth in Toronto and the GTA about relevant social issues through the creative medium of puppetry.

    Our 4 current programs address:

    - Bullying & School Safety

    - Violence, Gangs & Prejudice

    - Peer Pressure: Making the Right Choices with Drugs & Alcohol

    - Multiculturalism: Celebrating Diversity

    All of our topics cover issues relevant to the communities of Toronto and the GTA. We focus our efforts on the 13 Priority Neighbourhoods deemed to be at-risk by the city of Toronto.

    We are a small volunteer-based organization that harnesses the power of creative puppetry to enact social change!
