Next Generation Scholars

Since 2003, NGS has been helping motivated youth and their families to disrupt the cycle of poverty they've been born into, through higher education. Our longitudinal approach, serving youth from 6th grade to beyond their college graduation day, coupled with our wrap around services for their entire family, ensures their success. Through Academic Programming, Leadership Skills Development, College and Career Counseling and Family Support Services, our scholars move forward to achieve their academic goals, to impact their community, and to define their own futures.

Our track record of impact illustrates this, with 100% of our seniors graduating high school, and 100% of them receiving college acceptances to the colleges of their choice, along with the financial aid packages required to attend. 95% of NGS Scholars graduate college in within 5 years, compared to the national average of 60%, and in 2021, we reached a milestone of 200 NGS college alumni working in a variety of sectors including education, corporate, social services and tech, while giving back to the communities in which they live.
