    TAMIR has served the Ottawa community since 1985, empowering people with developmental disabilities and autism to live their best lives through inclusion, opportunity, and community.

    Our mission is to promote full participation in community life by supporting individuals to achieve their goals, build independence, and celebrate their strengths.

    TAMIR offers programs including Residential Homes that provide safe, supportive living; Children and Youth Services that build skills, confidence, and peer connections; Day Programs with social and skill-building activities; Recreation and Cultural programs that foster belonging; and Family Support and Advocacy to empower families.

    Recognized as a leader in inclusive services, TAMIR is known for person-centered care and strong community partnerships. Volunteers play a vital role, helping expand our impact and strengthen our community. When you volunteer with TAMIR, you help build an Ottawa where everyone belongs.
