  • Mission

Isaiah 61 Project, Inc. is a Faith Based organization based in City of Niagara Falls with a satellite training facility in the City of Lockport. Our mission is to serve the immediate vocational and material needs of residents of Niagara County through construction trades training, career placement, and building a Biblical life purpose.

    About Us

Isaiah 61 Project, Inc. in partnership with the City of Niagara Falls, SUNY, Associated Builders & Contractors, Key Bank, Home Depot, M&T Bank, Signorelli Electric, the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) along with many other area businesses, churches and service providers offers a FREE five hundred (500) hour pre-apprenticeship job-training program in the building trades.

Our dynamic approach combines classroom instruction, field-based learning on Isaiah 61 project houses, service-learning, industry guest speakers, and field visits to active and completed construction projects in the Buffalo-Niagara region.

The course runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 2:30 PM with additional training for OSHA-10 Safety, Building Maintenance and Applied Math Skills offered through the SUNY Attain Lab.

Upon graduation, The Isaiah 61 Project actively guides students to obtaining jobs, advancing their education level whether in formal university/college programs or apprenticeship programs, and to wraparound services available through partner organizations to assist in each student's unique journey.
