The Longevity Biotechnology Association (LBA) is a global non-profit body representing leaders in geroscience and gerotherapeutics: the development of new medicines and therapies to prevent and cure, rather than merely manage, the health conditions of late life. We are driven by a shared belief that every person deserves a life that is healthy, full, and long. The LBA’s key goals include:
- Educate governments, the media, the public and the medical industry about the promise of emerging therapies with the potential to treat or prevent multiple age-related conditions at once.
- Collaborate to create and disseminate best practices in the geroscience field.
- Provide insightful advice to those new to this field about approaches to geroscience and the technologies that it incorporates.
- Work with regulators to establish well-defined, rapid paths to approval that will bring this new class of therapies to patients.
