Peace Movement for Sustainable Development

Peace Movement for Sustainable Development is promoting Peaceful Economic Development of Rural Areas in Niger Delta through the following ways:

(a) Provision of Educational Support Facilities i.e. distribution of books and other educational materials, bursary award and scholarship to the less privileged to enable them acquire university education. (b) Capacity Building and Training to rehabilitate and make the youths who by virtue of their present level of education cannot be gainfully employed, employable by the Oil Companies. (c) Economic Empowerment through granting of interest-free loans to women and youths to kick-start their business or enhance already existing ones. (d) Organizing Seminars and Workshops to expand the comprehension and substantive acceptance of Peace and Peace building practices as a way of life.
