To present excellent quality operatic productions that entertain, inspire, and grow our audience; to promote operatic talent in our community; to collaborate with other community arts organizations; to educate and engage our community at all levels about opera; and to accomplish all of this in a financially sustainable way to ensure the future of opera in West Michigan for generations to come.
About Us
Opera Grand Rapids is West Michigan's only resident, professional opera production company. Each season we bring to life stunning operas, which are built from the ground up in Grand Rapids, utlizing breathtaking national singers, amazing sets and costumes, our regional chorus, and the music of the Grand Rapids Symphony.
