  • Mission

Since its founding in 1970, Old First Concerts has grown to become a rich and important part of the San Francisco cultural landscape. In a beautiful and historic space blessed with excellent acoustics, Old First Concerts presents a myriad of highly diverse concert experiences in classical, jazz and world music. In addition to an established classical music repertoire, we strive to feature an eclectic and adventurous programming schedule that includes new works and performances by emerging artists, women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ community.

    About Us

Old First Concerts presents between 40-70 concerts per year with a minimum of 3 per month. During the pandemic, we have limited our audiences to a maximum of 100 attendees (building capacity is 450), and have required proof of vaccination, mask wearing and social distancing while attending our programs.
