About Us

The mission of ACE Leadership High School is to prepare young people to have successful careers in the construction profession.

Our goal is to be the best school in the United States at transitioning its graduates to college and/or apprenticeship. To achieve this goal we will design and implement a curriculum, instruction and assessment program that fully integrates architecture, construction and engineering industry processes and outcomes with the New Mexico state content standards in all courses. All students will be prepared to work in and understand the intersections among the fields of architecture, construction and engineering. ACE Leadership will be a public private partnership and our relationship with the profession will provide unparalleled opportunities for our students to have well paid and enriching careers. The school is supported by the New Mexico Building and Education Congress, the not for profit fundraising arm of Associated General Contractors of New Mexico.

We believe that relevant, project-based instruction, focused on students “learning by doing every day in every class,” teamed with high levels of care and concern, will produce exemplary graduation rates and ultimately an efficient use of public funds.
