About Us

Founded in 1831, Xavier is a Jesuit Catholic university located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Xavier University's Graduate Program in Health Services Administration offers a rigorous curriculum that integrates both theory and practical experience. This combination fully equips its students to hold management, executive and other leadership positions in a wide range of fields in the health services industry, including hospitals, health systems, group practice, insurance, long-term care, consulting, government and the military. Xavier’s nationally-ranked MHSA program is accredited by CAHME (Commission on the Accreditation of Health Management Education) and is one of only seven MHSA programs still requiring the 8-12 month paid residency (the average stipend in 2019 is $43,000). The Xavier program is also the only program in the country to have received inaugural CAHME awards two years in a row.

Degree Options:

• Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) – Full-time (on-campus) and Executive (online) MHSA options available

• MHSA/MBA concurrent degree
