Magnolia Global Academy for Leaders (MGAL)

MGAL is committed to accessible, hands-on, authentic learning experiences that thoroughly prepare all Sonoma County high school students for college, careers, and beyond. We target one of the core issues our students face—preparedness for life after graduation. 

The majority of Sonoma County students do not feel prepared to enter a career or college. Also, as per the 2020 YouthTruth Data, we know that the majority do not feel engaged in their learning. Not only does each student deserve access to compelling, relevant, and in-demand learning experiences, but they should further feel empowered and equipped with the tools for success to carry them on their future path in adulthood. 

The quality of our county's education system has a significant impact on the quality of our future leaders and neighbors. Sonoma County is the only county in the North Bay without a globally-minded, project-based learning high school—MGAL is bridging the gap.
