Energy Consumers Alliance of New England (ECANE) does business as “Mass Energy” in Massachusetts and as “People’s Power and Light” (PP&L) in Rhode Island. ECANE is a non-profit organization that both advocates and acts in the marketplace on behalf of consumers and the environment. We have offered discount heating oil since 1982 and now provide renewable energy and discount heating oil to 20,000 members per year. Our advocacy work serves all consumers and our charitable programs benefit low-income households and other nonprofit organizations.
