Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation

The Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation (DASEF)exists to inspire and educate the people of the Delaware Valley in the areas of math, science, technology and aerospace through the use of academies, presentations, symposiums, professional development, events, and activities and the new Innovation, Technology, Exploration Center (ITEC).

Founded in 1989, DASEF, an independent non-profit educational organization having 501(c)(3) status, has provided students of all ages with the opportunity to apply math, technology and science in exciting and practical ways.

DASEF incorporates interesting space and aeronautic themes with traditional school subjects and programs designed to reach and motivate children from diverse backgrounds.

DASEF’s core philosophy promotes stewardship of the earth and beyond, striving to teach children and their families the importance of using technology in a way that appreciates and respects the earth and its most valuable resources - people.

ITEC will provide a facility that demonstrates the DASEF mission with emphasis on the appreciation and understanding of the natural world and beyond and the integration of human ingenuity with the ecosystems of the Earth.
