GGO partners with Title I public schools in Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO-schools where students often have limited access to experiential learning, investigation, and time in outdoor spaces that support well-being and mental health. GGO’s program blends hands-on learning with outdoor activities and overnight trips, helping students build curiosity, confidence, and healthy habits.

Throughout the school year, college mentors offer consistent support that encourages focus, emotional well-being, and a strong sense of self. By working directly with classroom teachers, GGO ensures that each experience reinforces academic growth while also supporting students’ overall development and long-term success.
