  • About Us

Boston Public Schools is hailed as one of the top urban school districts in the country.

The Edward Everett Elementary serves approximately 300 Boston Public School students. Our school’s mission is to educate all students to achieve their maximum potential by stressing academics and respect for self and others.

    To do this, we:

    · Share responsibility among parents, teachers, students, and community partners for making education a priority. · Focus on improving academic achievement with an emphasis on language arts and mathematics. · Set high expectations for all students and one another. · Create conditions for cooperation and opportunities to experience and celebrate diversity. · Foster student academic, social, and emotional growth.

We also offer our students many extra-curricular and arts-related opportunities. All students in grades K-5 take art, music, and communications/drama classes during the school day. They participate in the Sports4Kids recreational program daily at recess and are invited to participate in a variety of before and after school clubs and programs.
