Educating to inspire compassion. Inspiring compassion to drive conservation.
At New England Primate Conservancy, we make the complex science of animal protection and wildlife conservation easy to understand, meaningful, and engaging. Our education team pores through scientific research and transforms it into clear, approachable language so that everyone can assess, consider, and modify their impact on the natural world. And whenever possible, we make learning about conservation fun and inspiring.
Every choice we make has a ripple effect. Each small step in the right direction carries hope—for ecosystems, for species, and for the planet we all share. Saving one species truly saves many.
Our ultimate goal is responsible stewardship of Earth and all her creatures—because education is the heart of conservation.
Education does more than inform—it transforms
Beyond raising awareness of our environmental impact, NEPC’s programs aim to cultivate empathy and respect for all living beings. By fostering compassion toward animals, we nurture the same qualities that strengthen our relationships with one another.
Extensive research shows a direct connection between cruelty to animals and violence toward people. Conversely, compassion for our fellow animals often reflects—and reinforces—our compassion for each other. When we learn to value and protect other species, we strengthen the very foundation of our humanity.
When we protect and advocate for our fellow animals, we become part of a much greater solution—one that advances kindness, coexistence, and a more compassionate world for all.
