Ravenna Youth Council

  • About Us

The Ravenna Youth Council (RYC) was created in 2007 as a way to discuss and work on the challenges that youth in our city encounter. We hope that the RYC provides our teenage members with educational and leadership opportunities, instill a sense of civic responsibility, create communication between the city council and high school students and allow city leaders to be informed on the youth perspective on an array of issues. The RYC is designed to provide members with valuable experience with local government, community service, planning, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, organizing, managing, professionalism and respect.
