  • About Us

Karibu (welcome) to CAPS, a registered local not-for profit organization in Kenya. CAPS is currently managed by a group of volunteers. The aim of CAPS is not only to revisit cultures through community-base research and participatory mobilisation/training to dehumanising cultures and to improve the literacy and technological knowledges among the rural youths (mostly school leavers/drop outs) but it also purports to use culturally translatable alternatives to address current challenges like poverty, domestic violence, initiation rites, child abuse, and HIV & Aids by providing professional counselling and advisory information.
