  • About Us

The Music Works Program is an innovative non-profit before-school, after-school and summertime program where “at-risk” children participate in project-based “music business” education. The program is designed to teach digital audio recording and graphic design and also give participants a preliminary introduction to aspects of the music industry such as business structure, operations and careers.

The Music Works Program believes that an investment in children and their future is a wise one. The participants being served are considered "at-risk" because of the environment in which they live, family structure, socialization skills and academic achievement. Positive encouragement from caring adult mentors, who serve as role models can make a significant impact on their lives.
