  • Mission

Boise Civic Trust exists to turn overlooked civic conditions into clear, fundable action, strengthening the places, paths, public spaces, and systems of stewardship that shape everyday life in Boise.

    About Us

Boise Civic Trust is a nonprofit civic organization that turns overlooked or stuck community conditions into clear, fundable public-interest projects.

We work where public value is real but responsibility is fragmented—across places, paths, public spaces, neighborhood issues, and civic assets that often fall between agencies, property owners, funders, and community groups. Through research, public education, field documentation, stakeholder coordination, feasibility work, and stewardship planning, we help clarify the problem, organize the people and information around it, and create a credible path toward funding, partnership, formal planning, or implementation.

Our work serves Boise residents by helping important civic places and systems become more connected, accessible, legible, and well cared for. We focus on the early work that often determines whether a civic idea ever becomes real, and we build from existing public plans and community priorities whenever possible rather than duplicating work that has already been done.

Boise Civic Trust is independent of government, developers, and single-issue advocacy groups, which allows us to work across institutional boundaries and organize complex civic problems around the public interest.
