Working in coordination with The St. Paul’s Schools and Gilman School, Bridges Baltimore is committed to the long-term success of Baltimore City youth and to providing life-changing opportunities to independent school students. Our team serves approximately 500 people per year - 300 Baltimore City youth ages 9-23 and 200 independent school students. Our two sites, Bridges at St. Paul’s Schools (est. 1993) & Bridges at Gilman School (est. 2014), operate on a budget of $1.4mm.

Baltimore is loaded with wonderful young people who thrive with the support Bridges provides and we are committed to continued expansion throughout the city. About St. Paul's School

The St. Paul’s Schools is a family of independent schools located in Brooklandville, Maryland. With more than 1,300 students from ages 6 months to grade 12, St. Paul’s Pre and Lower School (coed), St. Paul’s School for Girls, and St. Paul’s School for Boys share a 120-acre campus, an Episcopal affiliation, and a focus on developing confident, well balanced students who will use their education and ethics to improve the world. In July 2018, the schools unified under the umbrella of The St. Paul's Schools, with a single board of trustees and one president, but each school retains its individual traditions and its gender-specific programs. A coordinated structure allows The St. Paul’s Schools to preserve the small school feel within each school while sharing resources and certain programs to maximize opportunities for students. With St. Paul’s unique model, boys and girls are taught together and separately at just the right times in their development.

About Gilman School

Founded in 1897, Gilman School is a pre-k through 12 independent day school for boys in Baltimore. For more than a century our mission has remained exceedingly focused: to unlock the greatness within each boy by educating the entire boy—mind, body, and spirit. To accomplish that goal, we provide space and opportunity for crucial learning and self-expression to take place. Our rich and comprehensive program, our immeasurably talented and interesting faculty and students, and our belief in the character traits embodied by the Gilman Five—Honor, Integrity, Respect, Humility, and Excellence—combine to form the foundation of an educational environment dedicated to helping boys grow into men of character.
