Berkshire Community Diaper Project, Inc.

BCDP, inc educates the Berkshire County , Massachusetts community about Diaper need in our area. We also raise money to purchase diapers and encourage local schools, churches, businesses, synagogues, and civic clubs to hold Diaper Drives. We distribute the diapers to 4 food pantries , a local WIC office, and to 7 agencies working with lower income families in our County. We support legislation that would help low income parents to purchase diapers and are affiliated with the National Diaper Bank Network.

We are an all-volunteer organization, supported by grants and donations. Every dollar we receive buys diapers for those who need them, without proof of income or need. Recently we have received two grants- from National Diaper Bank Network and from the Berkshire Bank Foundation- simply for administrative costs and to hire a part-time outreach assistant.
