Southern Gateway Public Green Foundation

The Southern Gateway Public Green Foundation manages and operates Halperin Park, a newly-built deck park in the city of Dallas. Our mission is to achieve transformational change for Southern Dallas communities by developing greenspace and serving as a catalyst for infrastructure reinvestment that can improve the surrounding communities’ cultural capital, health, safety, education, and economic standing.

Halperin Park will be highly programmed, active, free and open to the public. The Foundation envisions the park to be a thriving hub in Dallas, with a vibrant, diverse community that honors and embraces its cultural and historic values. The park's impact aims to drive sustainable and equitable economic development, and offer a high quality of life for the residents.
